Initially announced as a June release, the ViewPad 7x tablet is still not available as its maker, ViewSonic, has decided to wait for Android 3.2. This means that the 7-inch ViewPad will make its retail debut sometime next month.

Beside Android 3.2, the ViewPad 7x comes with a 1024 x 600-pixel, Gorilla Glass-enhanced touchscreen, a 1GHz Tegra 2 chip, a 5 megapixel rear-facing camera, a 2MP front camera, WiFi (DLNA support included), a microSD slot, and a HDMI port. The device’s price tag is still unknown.
